Hillsboro - West End Historic Addition

We took a part of the historic, shorter house and vaulted it, adding skylights and bringing natural light into the dining room and kitchen. The smaller front rooms of the house keep the historic character intact while the addition at the back of the house opens up to create the contemporary spaces that homeowners need. And even with a shorter historic house you can still get some great space upstairs! The bedrooms upstairs can access quaint vaulted space in the old attic via a new walkway that looks down into the skylit dining space.
