Kaitlyn approaches problems with creativity and offers options for a workable solution. Additionally, Kaitlyn’s designs capture many nuances that you won’t fully appreciate until after the build is complete. She sees the Big Picture before it’s 3D. She is pragmatic. She is efficient. Unlike many architect’s with egos, Kaitlyn is open to client collaboration. She doesn’t just listen, she pays attention! She is true to the design process while keeping the client’s vision intact. Not only did Kaitlyn incorporate nearly all of our ideas and wish list, but she improved upon them! As return clients, she more than met our expectations and picky standards. Twice.

We loved working with Nine12 Architects. We had a complex problem to solve as we worked to restore a 700 square foot East Nashville home under the historic overlay. Nine12 helped us design the home of our dreams within the overlay constraints and used their experience working with the historical commission to help make it seamless.

Martin Wieck at Nine12 gave us a great design that has worked out wonderfully well as a 2 car garage with exercise studio on the ground floor and an AirBnb apt above which is doing quite nicely so far. He was attentive to our wishes and ideas and gave us great value for money. Highly recommended!

We used Nine12 a few years back to design the Detached Accessory Dwelling Unit behind our home in East Nashville and we could not be happier with the results! We wanted the guest house to blend in with the architectural character of the historic home on the property, and it couldn't have turned out better. Building the guest house, and the income we've been able to generate from it, has been absolutely one of the best things we've ever done.
